This video contains numerous errors of fact. Among the most important points which need to be clarified are the following: (1) There was no recognition of "Taiwan Retrocession Day" (Oct. 25, 1945) by the Allies, hence (2) Japanese sovereignty over Taiwan continued until the coming into force of the post-war treaty on April 28, 1952. Additionally, (3) Taiwanese were not stateless at any time during the 1940's, they were still Japanese nationals.

這是一部很完整的台灣簡史影集，從二戰終戰，經盟軍佔領到228的發生。以英文發音，非常清楚，也有英文字幕。

全部共七集。每集約 7 - 9 分鐘。

對於至今仍然認為台灣是屬於中國領土的藍色選民，這是一部很快可以啟蒙他們影片，不必看很多書，就可以一目瞭然。

從日本殖民政府撤退到盟軍（蔣介石軍隊）入台，其間有70天，台灣呈無政府狀態。然而讓人訝異的事，整個台灣的治安秩序，經濟結構，民間安全，社會秩序，是呈現非常安定狀態。貨幣繼續以當時的日幣通行，市場照開，交通仍然照常，電力，供水，學校，一切都有如和平時期的榮景，安定。

雖然只有70多天，但這展示了台灣社會的文明，與自治能力，這時期可說是台灣歷史上唯一沒有外來政權干涉的伊甸樂園，也是一個真正台灣建國後的模擬。

然而，這樂園現象在蔣家軍隊進台之後，立刻消失，所取代的就是頓時讓台灣從天上掉進地獄。
